In 2011, I created the character Basil the Groundskeeper for Socks, Inc.

I made Basil using various types of dried moss, part of a doll wig, a fake bird’s nest and antlers from an old cuckoo clock.  The antlers were quite a challenge, but I was determined to make them work. Several hot glue burns later, Basil had her antlers firmly attached to a modified restaurant kid’s cup inside her head.

I wrote the script for Basil’s videos and the accompanying player missions. Basil is the newly appointed groundskeeper at Socks, Inc and must overcome the challenges  of her new job (spoiler alert – invasive gnomes!). I also voiced Basil and directed her videos.
