World Without Oil was presented by ITVS Interactive (Independent Television Service) and funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. World Without Oil was a nominee for the 2009 Webby Awards, earned an Honorable Mention for the Prix Green Award for Environmental Art, was honored for its contribution to humanity in the 2008 Stockholm Challenge, and won the award for Activism at South by Southwest.
